Volunteer in your Community

Want to support the NHS by volunteering in your local community?

Join the official national campaign – ‘NHS Volunteer Responders‘

We need an ‘army’ of volunteers in our local communities who can support the 1.5m people in England who are at most risk from the virus to stay well.

How does it work?

NHS Professionals will refer people in to the NHS Volunteer Responders programme. They can then be confident that they have been matched with a reliable, named volunteer (that’s you!).

To become a Volunteer Responder you need to register on GoodSAM’s website here and then once your checks are complete, they’ll give you a login to the Responder app they’ve set up. You cand then switch the app to ‘on duty’, and you’ll see live and local volunteer tasks to pick from nearby.
